If you’re looking for a great air show, then it may be time to check out the rental cabins in Texas. The Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake Air Show is coming to town on Saturday, July 1st, and it’s a spectacular display. Here’s what you can expect:
Planes, planes, and more planes
With this air show, you’ll see it all. Civilian and military aircraft will perform incredible feats, such as aerobatics, simulated dog fights, and fly-bys. From vintage airplanes to new technology, there’s something for everyone to love.
How to View
- Boaters can bring their watercraft to view the show. This option is free, but make sure to follow all the rules. There will be a flightbox, marked out by buoys and red and white flags. Steer clear of the flightbox, proceed with caution when navigating through the crowded waters, and set anchor once you find your spot. Note: Failure to adhere to mandatory safety limits could result in the FAA shutting the show down, and we wouldn’t want that to happen.
- Head to local parks. If you’re close enough to Cedar Creek Lake (or fortunate enough to own private property nearby), then you can view the show from there, which is also free.
- Get VIP viewing at the Pinnacle Golf & Boat Club. The club will only be only open that day to residents, guests of residents and ticket holders. Tickets are $60 per person, and payment is made through a charitable donation to the Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation (CCVF).
